SaazAle 11
Brewed in collaboration with the Hop Research Institute in Žatec, Cobolis SaazAle.cz #1 shows just what Saaz hops can do in an ale. We used Gaia, one of the youngest hop varieties, alongside experimental 5227, bred specifically for brewing and dry-hopping ales. With a high beta-to-alpha ratio (7% beta versus just 1.7% alpha), it delivers a very fine yet pronounced bitterness and a beautiful ale aroma. Expect notes of apricot, pineapple, blossoms and strawberries, with a fruity, lightly spicy taste and an overall drier finish.
