Jefferson NEIPA 16

It got its name from one of the prominent Founding Fathers. Benjamin Franklin was an inseparable part of the disputes between the English Crown and the rebellious colony that would, over time, become the United States. Our NEIPA is exactly the same: brewed in an American style and hopped with American hops (Sabro, Citra and Casscade), but fermented with new English yeasts from the well-known brewery VERDANT BREWING.CO. These give the beer the pronounced flavor typical of the NEIPA style, but compared with American yeasts they attenuate a little less, making the beer more complex and, in our view, more expressive. For winter, we brew a slightly stronger version of it.
